Six How to Decree a Thing

The Greatest Secret is that the words you speak (even the words you speak inside your heart)… come true. You are the genie in the bottle. Not only the words you speak, but the thoughts you truly feel and believe to be true become an established part of your experience.

It is stated quite nicely in the Bible’s Book of Job.

It says:

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”

Job 22:28

Stated in modern terms, what this means is: What you say…comes true.

Remember that both our words and our thoughts are the equivalent to our “decrees.” The worst part of this Truth is that the bad thoughts we think and speak also have a tendency to be created or established in our experience.

The Bible also states clearly in the book of Matthew that we will have to account for “every idle word.” Again, both our words and our thoughts can be included when we talk about our “idle words.” That means we must pay attention to all of our words and thoughts for they are creative.

A surefire way to improve your situation from this day forward is to lose the habit of all negative thinking. Switch your thoughts to the things that are good for you and yours. Be positive in your mental outlook and in your verbal statements. Avoid listening to the negative statements of friends, family and strive to avoid all negative input of any kind from the television, cell phone, or other forms of mass communication.

While difficult at first, it will become easier as you create the habit of controlling your thinking. Once you recognize the link between what you have been imagining and feeling and your daily reality you will begin to make every effort to imagine the best. Very quickly, and as a matter of Law, miraculous changes and opportunities will manifest in your life.

This is the Greatest Secret and it has now been whispered in your ear. Think only about the wonderful things that are good for you; Think only of the beautiful, amazing things you want to have and happen in your life.

Also, keep it quiet for now. Spare yourself the negative feedback from other people who will not understand. It is now a part of your own secret knowledge. Smile, and use this power to build your life as you wish it to be. Your life starts a brand new chapter from this very moment.
